I refer to a particular sequence in Wong Kar-Wai's Happy Together.

lovers dance their tango
the fleetingness of their happiness encapsulated by the mortality of the song
bodies entwined
state of mind
blue-washed colour
pale
drenched with emotion in all its bareness
it is that one desire humans capable of love aspire to
yet few ever experience it
and when they do
the vertigo falls pull you towards the chaos of its centre
you are engulfed
and nothing else matters
